Today’s river readings continue to reflect stable salinity and total dissolved solids (TDS) conditions throughout the lower Nueces River, with moderate temperatures across all sites.

Field Measurements

Field readings show steady conditions across the lower Nueces River. Upstream near Bluntzer recorded 0.6 ppt salinity and 814 mg/L TDS, while Hazel Bazemore measured 1.0 ppt salinity and 1,269 mg/L TDS — consistent with recent observations. NGCD continues daily monitoring to track changes and protect local water resources.


 

Operations Update

Work continues on Well 1, while Well 4 is currently pumping. These measurements help track how local conditions respond to both rainfall and well activity over time.
